Company Deregistration

What to do if you have a company or close corporation that you no longer need.

When you have a company or close corporation that you no longer use, it will eventually be deregistered by CIPC. However, this does not mean that it will automatically be deactivated at SARS. It is important to get the tax returns up to date and deregister the company at CIPC and SARS.

How does the process work?

  • We will determine whether the company has a public officer appointed at SARS.
  • If the company does not have a public officer, we will appoint one.
  • As soon as we have access to eFiling, we will send a quote to submit outstanding tax returns. We will also determine whether there are outstanding admin penalties.
  • If the quote is accepted, we will submit all the tax returns
  • We will also deregister the company at SARS and CIPC

Simply complete the form below to get the process started.

Please note

If the quote is not accepted, an amount of R100 will be payable if a public officer was appointed.
